CONSULTATIONS

There's a reason people often compare hair stylists to therapists. A good one can be a lifesaver, but a bad one can leave you with a seemingly permanent scar--until your next hair appointment, anyway.
Whether you are looking to reinvent yourself? Having a bad hair day?
Or worse, yet a bad hair month? We can help .
Maybe you've moved to a new city, or maybe you're just ready for a new look. Whatever the reason, it could be time to talk to one of the stylist at The Hair Company. Our stylists regularly attend trade shows and advanced training to keep on top of current trends.
With regularly scheduled appointments, we always allow a few extra minutes of time, at the beginning of your appointment to discuss any changes or challenges you may be having. If you are a new guest to our salon, we add 15 minutes to your appointment time, to ensure we have time to discuss your needs & desires. This type of consultation is free of charge.
Good communication with your stylist is essential for getting the results you want. Nothing disappoints like a stylist that listens to your needs then executes an entirely different look.
A few minutes of pre-salon prep can help you explain your goals, and ensure that your stylist understands your desired result. Prepare yourself with all the information you need to develop a solid and healthy relationship with the person who can help you look your best - day or night
In the near future, we will be offering a very extensive 30 minute 'Consultation'. Perfect for those that are considering a completely new look, would like a fresh point of view from another service provider, or for those that are new to our salon, and want to get a feel for our staff and what we can do for you.
We are currently working on all the details for this service. Below is an idea of what you can expect......
During the consultation time, you will receive ‘one on one’ time with a service provider. We will use part of this time to get to know each other and make sure we are on the same page on ideas and treatments before making any commitments.
It is important to know what type of look each guest is most comfortable with. We will evaluate your skin tone, face shape, and hair texture. We also take into consideration your occupation, personal style and your budget. We strongly suggest that you bring photos and ideas so we can be sure that we know exactly you are looking to achieve.
Armed with this information, we will work together to develop a plan for hair color and a hair design that will allow several different options. Then we establish a basic maintenance plan that works for you, including follow up visits and a home care regime.
The fee for a full consultation of this type, has not yet been determined.
