CONSULTATIONS
Because your hair is very important to you and to us, our hair designers are trained to work with you to recommend and achieve a hairstyle and color that works for you, your personality and your lifestyle. Simple changes can be discussed during your regular appointment time. However, if you are new to our salon, considering a change, or perhaps just want a fresh point of view from another member of our team, your are encouraged to schedule a consultation time with one of our designers. 

APPOINTMENTS
We’d much rather work around your schedule, instead of you working around ours. To ensure an appointment time that is most convenient for you, we suggest that you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving. In fact many of our guest enjoy the convenience of scheduling the next 6-12 months of appointments. Simply let our front desk know what days/times are best, and how many weeks in between. They will have a print out of your appointment schedule waiting at the front desk for you.
If you are new to our salon, we suggest calling as far ahead as possible. Please note that the higher level service providers have a great demand on appointment times. If a certain time and day is needed, please call 3-4 weeks in advance.

CONFIRMATIONS
We make every attempt to confirm all appointments 24-48 hours in advance. Confirmations are made via phone or email (you let us know what is best). Please be sure we have all of your contact information, so that we may do so. If we have emailed your, or left a message, kindly respond ASAP, so that we are sure that you received our confirmation.

ARRIVALS
Please arrive a few minutes early to allow yourself time to unwind, preview a possible new look, or catch up on the latest gossip in your favorite publication. If you are a new guest to our salon, we’d like to use this time to give you a tour, and tell you about the wonderful programs we offer.
If you anticipate that you will be more than 10 minutes late, please call. It may be necessary to re-adjust you appointment time. We will do our best to also contact you in the rare event that we are running behind (be sure we have all contact numbers on file).

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations or reservations made at least 24-48 hours in advance allows our team the opportunity to accommodate other guests, (especially those on our wait list), and will be greatly appreciated. Any no show appointments or chronic last minute cancellations must be paid in full before any additional appointments or reservations will be honored. In the event that your service must be canceled by us on the same day (ex. Stylist sick or emergency), there will be a $10 gift certificate waiting for you at our front desk, which may be use with that stylist on your next visit.

CELL PHONES
We strongly discourage the use of cell phones or two-ways in any of the service areas. We ask that you turn your cell phone off or to vibrate when you arrive. If you anticipate an important call, please have your phone on vibrate and use a low speaking voice when talking, as a courtesy to our other guest. If your service provider is performing a service at the time your call comes in, and you must take the call, your appointment time will be reduced accordingly.

CHILDREN
We gladly service children. We ask that children not receiving a service remain in our waiting area supervised by an adult for their safety and comfort of other clients. Please remind your children to avoid running, spinning or climbing on chairs, or opening any closed drawers in the space. Most drawers contain sharp or hot objects and chemicals that could be potentially dangerous to unsuspecting children. 
PRICES
Prices, like life, are subject to adjustments. Our staff works on a Level System, therefore prices are different for different designers. For more information on our Designer Levels, please scroll to the bottom of the service menu.
Prices will also vary when additional time or product is needed due to density or length of the hair, or when more intricate techniques are used. Please consult with your stylist for a more definitive price is needed.

PAYMENT
The Hair Company accepts Visa, MasterCard, in-state personal checks (with valid ID containing matching address), cash and valid gift cards/ certificates for payment of products and/or services.

GRATUITIES
Gratuities are accepted and greatly appreciated. 15-20% is customary. Gratuities are not permitted to be added to credit or debit cards. If you wish to leave a gratuity, you may do so directly with your service provider, or with our front desk staff. Any gratuities left with the front desk staff is recorded with your name to the service provider(s) of your choice.
