I grew up in Mechanicsville, MD. I hold an AA degree in Arts and Sciences. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my boyfriend and friends. I also enjoy coaching cheerleading when I have time.
I began shampooing at age 16. It didn't take long to realize that I really liked this industry. I love that you are constantly meeting new people, and making them feel great! I am excited to be beginning my Apprenticeship under Shannon. I enjoy working with all of the stylist at The Hair Company, and really feel that I have found a place where I can expand my learning and become the best stylist I can be.
Although I am just learning, I think color will be my favorite. I am looking forward to learn more about it! I plan to take as many classes as I can here at the salon, and attend as many outside as possible.
I think Customer Service is equally important as the actual haircut or color service. I will always do my best to make a guest feel welcome and enjoy their visit.
Shannon is my mentor. She is an excellent stylist. My hope is that when she is finished training me, I can be as good as she is.
If I weren't in this business, I'd probably be doing something in the graphics arts field.
My professional goal is to be a licenced stylist in 2011. I want to soak up all the training I can, so I can be the best when I hit the styling floor.
Personally, I hope that within the next few year that I have a home of my own, and a family
