Tell us about yourself:

I grew up in Camp Springs, MD. I married Stevie in June 2009. We have two handsome little boys. In my free time, I love hanging out with family and friends, dancing, or doing artsy things.

I have been licensed since 2005. I started at The Hair Company in 2004 as an assistant while going to Graham Webb Academy of Hair Design in Rosslyn, VA.

When and why did you decide to join the beauty industry?

I was in my second year of college in January 2004, majoring in Psychology, when I realized that I loved doing hair much more than I loved college. I felt I could still talk to and help people, but at the same time make them look and feel beautiful.

Where did you receive your training?

Graham Webb Academy, Rosslyn VA

What do you like best about the industry?

The creativity!!! And making people feel awesome about themselves.

Why did you choose The Hair Company to call home?

I used to get my hair done here. When I would come in, everyone was so friendly. Now it's like my family.

What services do you enjoy performing the most?

Color!!! I enjoy the endless possibilities that coloring hair has! It's fun!!

Why do you think it is importation to take advanced training?

Times are constantly changing! If we don't stay on top of fashion and styles, then how can we make a guest look their best and remain stylish? Not to mention, new techniques come about everyday.

What does customer service/satisfaction mean to you?

Giving the guest the best service possible! They must be comfortable with me and feel taken care of while they are with me. I feel thorough consultation is a must! With out any of that, I don't feel satisfaction is guaranteed.

If you weren't in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?

Something with fashion. Either designing clothes or owning a small boutique. I love clothes and fashion and would love to do something related to it.

What are your goals?

Professionally, I just want to do my best and enjoy the ride! I would love to one day own my own salon. Personally, I would like to build a home, get married and have three more children
