Tell us about yourself:

I grew up in Prince Frederick, MD. I have a dog named Hannah (Chihuahua), LOVE HER!

When and why did you decide to join the beauty industry?

I've loved it as far back as I can remember. I used to sneak the crimping iron when I was five. I was always doing my mom's and friends hair. For my eleventh birthday, all I wanted was a curling iron.

Where did you receive your training?

I attended Calvert Career Center '03-05', where I 'placed' in many cosmetology & communications competitions.

What do you like best about the industry?

Coloring, Cutting, Make-Up, Communication, Consulting, Learning, Happiness, & Results!

Why did you choose The Hair Company to call home?

II saw that they were accepting applications for stylist. I came in, pretending to be a shopper. I instantly felt warm, and was very pleased with the modern and friendly atmosphere. I love working here, we have a great team!

What services do you enjoy performing the most?

Color, Cutting, Natural Nails (manicure/pedicure), Make-Up, and Updo's.

Why do you think it is important to take advanced training?

Most of all, for the inspiration. It allows me to be creative and take control, when I keep up on the latest trends. I always take away new ideas. Put all that together and I end up with more guest asking for me, and making more money.

What advanced training have you received?

All of the 'in-salon' classes offered at The Hair Company

What does customer service/satisfaction mean to you?

Doing everything you can, with the time you have to make each visit memorable. Listening to the guests, to ensure that I give them exactly what they want.

Do you have a mentor/role model? Why do you chose that person?

Jill. I worked under Jill when I first came to The Hair Company. She has 10 years experience, very knowledgeable, and just an all around great person! She has great work ethic, and is always on point!

If you weren't in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?

Psychologist.

What are your goals?

Inherit lots of guest from the higher level stylist

Retain all guest that I service.

Make good investments in life.
