Tell us about yourself:
I'm a native of 'Good Ole St. Mary's County'.
I enjoy playing softball and spending time with friends, family, and my dog. (can you tell I'm a county girl?)
I began working at The Hair Company in 2006, and worked here until I left for Florida to go to beauty school.
When and why did you decide to join the beauty industry?
During my senior year of highschool, I realized that the beauty business is my passion.
Where did you receive your training?
I graduated from the The Salon Professional Academy (a Redken Sponsored school), in Inverness, FL in August of 2007.

What do you like best about the industry?
This industry is always changing, so there's no opportunity to get bored with it.
Why did you choose The Hair Company to call home?
Because its an excellent workplace. It has a very comfortable atmosphere for the employees, as well as the guests.
What services do you enjoy performing the most?
I really don't have a favorite, but I do enjoy creating a whole new look for someone!
Why do you think it is important to take advanced training?
With the trends changing so rapidly it would be impossible to keep up with the guests needs.
What advanced training have you received?
All of the Advanced Education hosted by The Hair Company. These classes have been very intimate and hands on, so there has been no need to seek training elswhere.
What does customer service/satisfaction mean to you?
If my guest isn't satisfied, I haven't done my job. I look at customer satisfaction as the ultimate final goal of their visit.
Do you have a mentor/role model? Why do you chose that person?
Not really. I don't really like to follow in other peoples footsteps. I want to step out and my my own path.
If you weren't in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?
I have no idea! There really hasn't been anything else that has interested me enought to persue it!
What are your goals?
My goal, both professionally and personally is to always enjoy my job, or should I say, 'my career'.
