Tell us about yourself:
I grew up in Mechanicsville, MD. I like to shop, and hang out with my friends. I also enjoy watching my Dad race at Virginia Motor Speedway during racing season. I have three dogs and a cat.
When and why did you decide to join the beauty industry?
I've always had an interest for hair, and love interacting with people. I started working at The Hair Company right after I graduated from highschool. That's when I knew that this was definitely what I wanted to do.
Where did you receive your training?
I graduated from Graham Webb Academy in 2007.
What do you like best about the industry?
Meeting lots of different people and making them feel good about themselves.
Why did you choose The Hair Company to call home?
The great working atmosphere. It's fun and upbeat, and I have great co-workers!
What services do you enjoy performing the most?
Coloring.
Why do you think it is important to take advanced training?
To keep up with all the latest trend and fashions. Also to learn new ways of doing things.
What advanced training have you received?
All of the 'in-salon' classes offered at The Hair Company. Michael Cole, Sam Villa, etc..,
What does customer service/satisfaction mean to you?
Doing your best to make sure that every person that sits in your chair is happy. Providing them with the best service you can!
Do you have a mentor/role model? Why do you chose that person?
Amber. She was the Educator that I worked under when I began the Associate Program at The Hair Company.She is an awesome person in and out of work! I know that I can go to her to talk or if I need advice on anything. She has done so well for herself in this industry, and I only hope that I can do the same!
If you weren't in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?
A Photographer
