ABOUT ME:
I grew up EVERYWHERE! I was born in St. Mary’s County, moved to Delaware as a toddler. In first grade I moved to Missouri, in eighth grade I moved to Washington State, then back here in 10th grade.
IN MY FREE TIME I ENJOY…………… SHOPPING!
I WENT INTO THE BEAUTY BIZ……... I’ve always been interested in doing hair. It’s a versatile industry that challenges your mind. It allows interaction with many different types of people, as well as building relationships with the guest I see.
TRAINING………... Blades School of Hair Design, California, MD. I was licensed as a Stylist in 2005 I believe that you must always keep up with the latest trends. Hair is essentially associated with fashion, and fashion is forever changing. We need to keep current on the styles of now, so we can do our best to create those looks. I was certified in the ‘Redken Master Specialist Program’. I have also attended many in salon classes offered at The Hair Company.
SERVICES……………... I offer cuts, color, highlighting, styling, updos, facial waxing, relaxers & texture services, and make up services.
FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THE BEAUTY BIZ ARE…………………. I enjoy coloring and highlighting the most. It gives me the opportunity to step ‘out of my box’ and be creative. I enjoy helping people with their wants, needs, and questions. I try to keep an open mind, be mindful of their thoughts, and explain every step of the way. I believe in truly listening to what my guest are saying. I love that I can be professional, yet in a friendly atmosphere.
I CHOSE THE HAIR COMPANY BECAUSE………………... It’s upbeat and trendy, and rapidly growing. We have a GREAT team. And a great emphasis is placed on education. Everyone here is very passionate about what they do, eager to learn more, and get along well.
I BEGAN WORKING AT THE HAIR COMPANY…... in 2007, and am a Level 2 Stylist.
